Making my iPhone freeze!

The latest app version running on the latest iOS version will cause your iPhone (I’m using iPhone 7 Plus) to freeze anytime you attempt to re-open the app. I cannot even submit feedback in the app to request Google to fix it. I hope this is fixed soon!
