Updated today, but now all I get is error messages on my iPhone 5c, please fix.

No longer works :-(

Now its a two star. Acts very quirky on my iPhone. Where are the old simple headlines. Frustrating enough to go somewhere else.

i used this a few times in the past... interface was clunky and disorganized. seems to have gotten considerably better since then. very easy to use. i likes it now. handy.

All the news I want in an easy format and none of the news I dont want. I love that it shows me real local news.

Why is it that when an app is really good, developers need to tinker with it and make it worse? The new scroll item for the headlines is really inconvenient. Now you have to scroll right for the headlines and then scroll down for the rest of the news. This makes no sense. Before I could just scroll down for everything. They have turned a one step process into a two-step process. Also, now the headlines are smaller so you cant really read what the story is about. Really disappointing.

The new format for headlines makes the app very inefficient. Please return to the original style.

Bring back the list view!! Horizontal scrolling is lousy. Need a better UI team, Google!

Not much else to say, it was great before. Poor choice on the carousel scrolling. Time to move on.

If I cant roll back to previous version this new version with headline scroll is off my phone. Terrible idea, not an improvement

The top stories section is now a bunch of tiles you have to swipe through, seems too include way more pay walled items than before. When using a browser is a better experience than the app there is a problem. The older version was better.

Google: Read the reviews, feedback on Carousel AMP in Top Headlines section is very negative. Poor use of space for mobile devices. Other sections use a small unobtrusive icon for AMP articles without the carousel, this is worlds better. Please listen to our feedback and remove this enhancement (because its not an enhancement) or provide users the ability to choose their preferred layout.

Google news gives me news from all the sources I need in one place.

Aggregates news well and good for a quick update.

Completely agree with others comments below- new version is harder to read. This was a bad idea. Will likely delete app and switch to new news source u less Google tells us how to undo it

The latest update has turned a great news app into an average one. The carousel makes headline browsing inefficient & Amp loading is sometimes only partial making for some ill-formatted reading. How can I revert back to the previous version?

Like other reviewers, I dislike the new headline sideways scrolling view. Its inefficient on many levels. If it aint broke dont fix it Google geniuses.

Please return to vertical scroll headlines. They were easier to navigate.

I enjoy the new scroll look for headlines and look at Google News 3 x a day and have many personalized google alerts. I get my news from here and NY Times.

Not an improvement. The new version is awful.
