The original title was my daily news fix, but I just realized I use it a lot during the day. The news alerts are the best thing since sliced bread.

Really prefer to Google news in Safari. App is mediocre and lacks personalization I prefer. Sports is not news to me.

Im pretty certain the people posting the stories on Google News just browse Reddit all day and repost all the top posts

Use the space for a larger font. Articles tend to be from left-leaning sources.

A step or two backwards. Im not liking the changes. After living with it for awhile and not seeing any improving value Im looking for new sources for my news.

Needs improvement but some of the content links actually work. Not great.

Love reading news articles in the google app, however, now we have this amazing news app with cool features.

I will not put up with adds that pop up over the whole screen and wont go away for a set period just to read an article. I will switch to another medium soon if it keeps happening. I understand adds are needed for revenue, but these adds exploit my phones graphics card and drain my battery. Its just obnoxious. Update: Ive had it. Im going to stop using the app and switch to the website.

Many years ago I complimented the people that made this app. Now it is just not good any more. The share button no longer works. The big banner and tab takes up unnecessary room. Instead of adding features that would be worth while like maybe a functional "more news" button they added junk and took the share button out of use.

I believe the App would be much better with Section Tabs on the Left Side of the Screen as opposed to leaving the main page to be accessed. Content is okay, but could be better. Id give it 5-Stars if it were easier to navigate.

The current version (3Q 2017) is incomplete. It is unlike Google to release an update unless it works and improves the prior version. This does neither. The Action Button to forward articles or link to a social app is non functional, and the appearance is bland with small pictures and no color. Im sure that would speed up loading, but it doesnt. It is slow to load the headline page and even slower to load the articles.

Far superior to the news app i previously used - USA Today - who is now so gummed up with ads its unusable.

Only slightly better than two tin cans and string ?. Seriously ... try hiring some graphic designers and better selection of news items ... you have the viewer personal data after all.

Its fantastic love my customized feed

Had to dump Android because the devices that were available to me were unreliable, but the Google apps were always great. When allowed by IOS to function properly, they are awesome and this particular app is one of them. I like it because it keeps me better up to date in regards to local news which is lacking in the Apple news app.

I used to be able to save interesting articles to Pocket. I guess its back to web browsing now.
