Locks up every other time I open the app. When it does work, (as another reviewer mentioned) the feed soon becomes NYT articles and Washington Post, which is fine, but after a while they require a subscription. And that pretty much renders the entire app worthless.

No intuitive way to set preferences or interests, so just another "kitchen sink" news app that dumps everything into the same place.

Pushes main stream “news”. Even if you customize the headlines, you have to scroll through the “trendy” garbage first.

Title says it all. Even CBC news is optimized. Come on google.

This is by far one of my most used apps. Finally it’s updated to fit the iPhone X screen.

Simple gestures like swipe left and right cause jitters on screen on iPhone X. So annoying! Sharing does not work. Seriously, the quality of the this app has declined so much that I’m on the verge of deleting it. Shame on Google for allowing such a buggy app to ship!

This app constantly freezes and locks up my iPhone X. Worked amazing on my 7+. Not happy with it now.

The app frequently stops responding to input gestures and taps, making it unusable.

The app crashes when I open articles. Please fix it!!

With this new update on 1/18/2018, this app is now tops for news. You get to pick topics you want as well as local news from cities you care about. Great job Google!

Crashes when I try to open an article; the widget doesn’t update to current stories.

I use this many times a day. Lately it’s been freezing a lot on iPhones . It’s so bad that it makes the whole iPhone hang while waiting until it gives you the opportunity to kill the app. And it’s not just on older iPhone 6. Also locks up iPhone X (even though not for as long). Please fix :)

Hard to see the usefulness of a news widget that does not refresh on its own.

Nothing worse than clicking on a title to read the article only to get a subscription notice. Like the NYT and Washington Post.

Love this! Really got me back into reading the news, especially with the tab with news based on your interests. The only thing is like to see is the ability to load more news based on your interests, and the ability to select interests from a list. Great work by Google once again.

I’m finally sick enough of the crashes to write a review. 1. Crashes frequently, freezing iPhone. Did this on iOS 10.2 and still does it through iOS 11.x.x 2. Headline sources are often biased. If more than 20% of the top articles are from the same source (for instance Washington Post) then either Google’s algorithm needs work or it’s intentional. 3. Feeds with old news are common, some with articles days or even weeks old. ThT is NOT news. 4. Sharing by mail feature sometimes put ... in the mail body as the article description. Useless.
