I would really like for the app to be optimized to fit my iPhone X screen the app works awesome and I enjoy Google Apps! I would love to see some of the same problems fixed that others are experiencing to be fixed as well. Thanks Google

I give this app MINUS ONE stars. There are full page and banner ads, you click the x in the corner to close them and nothing happens. The ad continues to play. “Google News” app should be renamed “Google Ads”. AP associated press app is much better. Even USA Today is more usable than Google.

This news app has become way too right wing no matter how you try to adjust the articles. Our relationship is over.

App now constantly crashes. Not only the app, but causes iPhone to stop functioning. Does that like 1/2 the time, can’t even report a bug in app because it doesn’t work anymore. There is no way you aren’t aware of this. Which means you choose to let it be a problem. Therefore, one star. This app is fine, but it has a few problems. Occasionally you get an error, something about updating settings even though you havent done anything. Also wish you could block certain news sources from appearing. Some limit you to certain reads per month, some want your location. Wish I could permanently forbid the app from sending my location. Also wish I could see more from certain sources I like. Also, articles appear in spotlight for weeks it seems. And no offense, but anything written more than a couple days ago is no longer news.

Still does not display correctly on iPhone X. Come on, there is very little adjustment required to make this app fit the screen appropriately.

Please please support the iPhone X!

This App started out strong and has progressively slowed and become a solid 1 1/2 Stars. Limited choices to customize and new interface freezes and is sluggish. Google can and should be better here.

Dont put invasive add that kills users experience.

I love the local news and the ease of following interests. Well put together in my opinion.

I love this app and the ability to customize your news feed, but can we please get an update for iPhone X?

Google news does not review the sources they promote w this app. Over the last few days, articles Google has promoted to me have told me that I am defective and should not be alive. Google is wrong to promote the death of people.

Over 50% of the news sources in my area you can only read 35% of the story because it’s a paid newspaper service. I come here to read local news sources that are available to me. I wish I could turn off specific news sources so only get my local feeds that would be just fine so I don’t have to search for the rest of the stories elsewhere

Many years ago I complimented the people that made this app. Now it is just not good any more. The share button no longer works. The big banner and tab takes up unnecessary room. Instead of adding features that would be worth while like maybe a functional "more news" button they added junk and took the share button out of use.

Weve used Google News for years and it worked wonderfully till a few months ago. Now Sharing (top right of screen) no longer works, and the app often freezes. Its a shame Google has let this app deteriorate. Weve reluctantly removed it from our IPads and phones.

C’mon Google ... an otherwise great app if you’d just add iPhone X support!

Months after the announcement of the iPhone X and it’s new screen size have passed and a major company like Google still hasn’t pushed an update for it. This shows the lack of dedication Google has for its users and the real reason why users prefer Apple over Android. I do not recommend downloading this app or supporting Google in any way. With the amount of developers they have, this could be finished within a week. Too bad it’s not on their timeline.

This apps widget does not automatically refresh in the iPhone widget Section unlike Apple news. You have to manually tap on a news item before it will update. Please fix!!
